Lightbox Engineering is Matthew Curlis, a lifelong electronics nerd, qualified electronic engineer and electrician.

Reece HQ - Water Well
Water Wells help Reece employees keep track of their personal hydration levels through NFC enabled water bottles and a Facebook Workplace plugin. Lightbox was involved from project concept, hardware & software development through to final fitout.

ESS Earth Sciences - Prototype Satellite Earth Station
A prototype Software Defined Radio (SDR) system was developed to capture bushfire imagery from the FireEye satellite. Lightbox was contracted to develop MODEM software in the GNURadio framework.

ARUP - Wayfinding Signs
Arup’s message boards are controlled via a central interface, enabling signs to be changed when required for project workspaces or VIP visits. Lightbox provided a LoRa wireless network solution to avoid the need for building wiring.

BoM - Prefabricated Standalone Power System
A prototype solar and wind powered generator was delivered to the Bureau of Meteorology (Broadmeadows RADAR site) to enable remote meteorological instruments to be installed with minimal site work and maintenance. Lightbox provided the engineering, construction & regulatory compliance work for this project.
